Shopify
Connect your Shopify store to ask about products, orders, customers, inventory, and discounts.
How do I connect Shopify?
- Go to Integrations
- Click Connect on the Shopify card
- Enter your store domain (e.g.
your-store.myshopify.com)
- You'll be redirected to Shopify — review the permissions and click Install
- Done. You'll be redirected back and the card will show "Connected"
What can I ask once Shopify is connected?
- What are my top 10 products by revenue this month?
- Show me all orders from today
- How many orders did I get this week vs last week?
- Which products have less than 5 units left?
- Who are my top customers by total spend?
- Show me unfulfilled orders older than 2 days
- Create a discount code "SPRING20" for 20% off, valid 7 days
- What's my average order value trending like?
What Shopify data does Novica have access to?
- Products — title, price, variants, images, inventory levels
- Orders — order details, line items, fulfillment status, dates
- Customers — name, email, order history, total spend
- Inventory — stock quantities across locations
- Discounts — create and list discount codes
I entered my domain but the authorization page doesn't load
- Make sure you're entering the
.myshopify.com domain, not a custom domain
- Example: use
your-store.myshopify.com, not www.yourstore.com
- Don't include
https:// — just the domain
I connected but my queries aren't working
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting from the Integrations page
- Make sure your Shopify account has admin permissions — staff accounts with limited access may not work
- Check if the Novica app is still installed in Shopify: Settings → Apps and sales channels
Can Novica modify my Shopify data?
Novica can create discount codes when you ask. For all other data (products, orders, customers), Novica has read-only access. It can look up data but can't change your store.
